Did you complete the survey?
There is one week left to make your voice heard in the LGUMC congregational survey! As Pastor Kate said on Sunday, we really want to learn as much as possible about our people and the perspectives we bring to our fellowship.
If you haven’t already completed the survey, please go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LGUMC1 by December 15.
If you have completed the survey, thanks!
Winter 2020-21 Events for Youth
Youth Group
Every Sunday Los Gatos UMC hosts a joint-youth group with students from all over California. Students gather to check in with one another, play games, and join in conversations about faith. Meetings typically last an hour and begin at 7pm.
Bible Study
Youth gather over Zoom every week to read through a chapter of the Bible and discuss everything from the cultural context, authorship, historical significance, and impact on our faith in modern days. Knowledge about the Bible is not needed to join in on these readings as each reading is designed for students who are both well versed or new to the Bible.
Winter Retreat
Have you wondered why we do church 2,000 years after Jesus? Curious as to why we even do this thing called “faith”? Join us for a weekend of gatherings over Zoom for activities, discussions, movies, and games that help us grow closer to one another and closer to God. The retreat will begin on Friday, January 22nd and go through Sunday, January 24th with lots of different events happening. We hope you will join us!
Reach Out
Thinking of trying out one of our meetings? Reach out to LGUMC’s Youth Director Robbie Frederiksen (rfrederiksen13@gmail.com or 503-816-1055) to talk more about it.
